For oatmeal
  1. 1/3 cup rolled oats
  2. 3/4 cup almond or coconut milk
  3. 1 TB chia seeds
  4. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  5. 1 TB pea or hemp protein powder (opt)
  6. 1 TB cacao powder (opt)
For topping
  1. Use your choice of fresh berries, apples, unsweetened coconut, chopped nuts or seeds.
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mixing well. Place in refrigerator overnight. When ready to eat, stir well, top with fruit of choice, and enjoy!
Notes
  1. The variations of this recipe are endless. If you want to top with apple, be sure to stir in some cinnamon. Top with cherries and add a few pieces of chopped almond. Get creative!
